Project Overview
IT ADMINZ successfully delivered and implemented a cloud-native container platform for a governmental entity in Saudi Arabia through the contracting partner MIS Saudi Arabia. The project included the deployment of two Red Hat OpenShift clusters, enterprise persistent storage with Longhorn, and a centralized container image management platform with Harbor Registry — supporting modern application workloads and Vision 2030 digital transformation initiatives.
This was one of IT ADMINZ's most comprehensive cloud-native engagements — delivering a complete, integrated platform stack covering Kubernetes orchestration, storage, and image management in a single project, providing the government entity with a production-ready foundation for hosting mission-critical applications.
Scope of Services
Solution Implemented
The project involved the deployment and configuration of two enterprise-grade Kubernetes clusters based on Red Hat OpenShift technology — providing a resilient, highly-available container orchestration environment for the government entity's application portfolio.
Longhorn Storage was implemented to provide cloud-native persistent storage capabilities for stateful containerized workloads, while Harbor Registry was deployed to deliver secure, centralized container image management with vulnerability scanning and access control — completing a fully integrated platform stack from a single engagement.
Technologies & Vendors
Business Value
Two OpenShift clusters provide a resilient, highly-available foundation for hosting critical government applications with enterprise-grade security and compliance.
Container orchestration with OpenShift dramatically accelerates application deployment cycles — enabling faster delivery of government digital services.
Longhorn provides cloud-native, distributed persistent storage — enabling stateful applications to run reliably with automatic replication and snapshot capabilities.
Harbor Registry provides a trusted, centralized source for all container images — with vulnerability scanning, RBAC, and image signing for supply chain security.
The integrated cloud-native platform provides the technology foundation for the government entity's digital transformation initiatives — enabling modern application development, microservices adoption, and future-ready infrastructure aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
